January 2011 Birth ClubWell kids at 18 months pretty much stop eating and get picky as it is so it may now be a phase thing too.My DS's pediatrician had told me that my perfect eater might even decide to stop eating or get extremely picky. And lo and behold! He started the day after his 18 month checkup.I actually called his ped office yesterday because he eats only one proper meal a day and now also refuses things that he loved before wow gold. Doc's office said to just keep offering whatever we eat at meal time and don't sweat if he still doesn't eat it.IMO wait it out, he may be going through that phase now too. Plus, I've never seen a big kid eating baby food so u know he'll eventually transition out of it.ITA with PP^ DS was a wonderful eater until the last couple weeks. He has gotten picky, and somedays eats pretty well and the next hardly anything. He also eat one food great one day and won't touch it the next. Its a toddler phase, so I'm trying to be relaxed about it. I did give him some pediasure mixed with milk once a day, but sometimes he won't drink it either lol. Good luck!ÂETA: I still occasionally give DS green bean baby food, because he LOVES it and won't eat regular green beans. The pediatrician said don't worry about it as long as most his food is regular and he's eating something lol. We also do the fruit and veggie squeezie pouches and he usually will eat those. I've found if its something he do or hold himself he eats it better. I've been giving him grilled cheese and not cutting it up, so he can hold it and bite into it, and half bananas, and whole peeled apples. HTH!ÂI keep a bunch of finger food (Cheerios, gold fish) in bowls on the floor for my LO. He will eat as he feels the need. We have good days and bad days (bad days are usually because of his teeth hurting wow po, and those are days when he will drink more fluids than he will eat, chew on cold fruit like lemon slices, and be lazy around the house), but you just have to keep giving them options.
