What animes should be saved fromI e-mailed them a while back, and the e-mail implied to me that Super Techno Arts was essentially just a one-man team and that person was completely swamped with other stuff. Unfortunately, I wouldn't hold my breathe for Scifi Harry or Robot Carnival.05-13-2007 wow po, 10:38 PMIn all honesty, I wonder how much the liscencing rights to each of these shows would be if a compnay wanted to save from from "VHS "Hell".Honestly, I wouldn't really expect the liscencing rights to a shown like Ehrgeiz to be expensive.Now, it would be great if there was a company that focused on releasing animes that were originally VHS only onto DVD at budget or at most reasonable prices.Of course, sales may not necessarily be there. They never released it on DVD because they didn't have DVD rights, and they didn't acquire DVD rights (they did for Escaflowne) because their sales were so disappointing. Figures, I mean, CSD didn't fit in with any of their other titles, and watch their preview for it - they tried to market it as an ACTION show! :sigh:Well, CLAMP School Detectives was probably more a victim of the time than people really not caring. Anime on VHS was expensive, anime was still just starting to get a foothold here, adn CLAMP was not exactly a big name here yet. The action show marketing didn't help either wow gold.If the show was released now onto DVD, aside from the older animation, it would probably sell better on the CLAMP name alone.The same could be said with Rumik World selling better now on Takahashi's name alone. That and Firetripper being the basis for the never-ending InuYasha.Yeah there were 3 VHS volumes, sub-only, of the Nuku Nuku OVAs.ADV put them all on 1 DVD added a dub (Allison Keith as NN). They then followed with the Dash finally TV series.I like the OVAs best as well. The TV is entertaining enough, but has worse animation quality.Abashiri Family (tagged "The family that slays together, stays together"), Mighty Space Miners, Capricorn, Gude Crest, Girl from Fantasia wow gold, First Loves End of Summer are all old ADV VHS that never got DVD releases, comparing catalog lists.
